Gryphon Construction delivers general contracting services throughout New York, managing the labor, materials, equipment, and coordination required to take a project from drawings to completion.
What separates a project that runs well from one that doesn't is rarely the build itself — it's the preparation behind it. Before work begins on site, our project management team develops a full command of the design and specifications and makes certain that everyone involved shares it. That understanding is what allows us to identify problems while they are still on paper rather than in the field, and it is why our projects hold their schedule and their budget.
From early development through closeout, a member of our project management team coordinates every aspect of the work: communication with the client and design team, supervision of subcontractors, and control of cost, quality, and schedule from the first submittal to the final close-out document.
Since 2002, Gryphon has grown from an interior renovation company into a full-service General Contractor trusted by public agencies across New York. Our early public-sector work included Job Order Contracts delivered in partnership with D&K Construction for agencies such as the Department of Environmental Protection, the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, and the New York City Housing Authority. That work established the agency relationships and delivery record we have built on ever since.
