PROJECT OVERVIEW
Storm-resilience power upgrade for the NYPD's 100th Precinct in Rockaway, a coastal area prone to storm damage. Completed as part of the city's post-Hurricane Sandy recovery, the project provided new electrical service and a backup generator to keep the precinct operational through future storm events.
Scope of work included:
New electrical service
New backup generator on concrete platform
Watertight masonry vault for oil tank
Air intake and exhaust ductwork and fans
New walls and ceilings
Interior finishes
